Welcome to Martin Maldovan

We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Martin Maldovan to our group as a Research Engineer. Martin has worked for a number of years at MIT using innovative modeling methods to study photonic materials and heat transfer in structured materials. You can read about some of Martin's work in this article from The Economist from earlier this year:

Welcome to Jack (and welcome back Liwei, Dieh and Ambarish)

We are pleased to welcome Jack Evans, a PhD student from Adelaide University, who is visiting us. Jack uses modeling and experiments to study crystalline nanoporous materials. Jack's arrival maintains a constant level of Australians in the group, since Simon Smart returned to the University of Queensland last week.

We are also glad to have several people back in Atlanta after summer industrial internships: Dieh at KBR in Houston, TX, Liwei at Dow in Freeport, TX, and Ambarish at ExxonMobil in Clinton, NJ.
